Selling Tips
When selling your property always try and present the property in the best possible light.
- Ensure that garden rubbish, weeds and cobwebs are removed and that gutters are cleaned.
- Internally it is often a good idea to have the carpets steam cleaned, check that door handles are tight and replace any blown light globes.
- We suggest a comprehensive marketing campaign which should concentrate on exposing the property to the most potential buyers possible.
- Strong representation in the local newspaper combined with the internet will ensure a steady flow of genuine enquiries for your property.
- Also when choosing an agent ensure the agent is a member of the REIV or its equivalent and that the principal of the office is a licensed estate agent.
- It is a good idea to talk to an agents past clients. Also ask your agent if he/she is available 7 days a week.
